She fully assumes the character she projects and affirms that she it doesn't at all feel superficial. Donatella Versace was born in 1955, in Reggio di Calabria, Italy,. Her taste and passion for expensive fashion, luxury and glam makes her a real fashion icon. She is the sister of the fashion designer, Gianni Versace, founder of the Milanese fashion house that carries the family's name. The designers characteristic use of prints and sexual bomb silhouettes, as well as constant references to ancient Greco Roman culture gained him an international star clientele.
