Conceived and carried out by the MUR?NO Resort-Paris team, this new theatre of Parisian life is the sanctuary of the ‘KUBER’ tribe. Obsessed with design and new technologies, the ‘KUBERS’, international, 21st-century travellers, as laidback as they are busy, glide around this efficient, convivial environment. Bar Salon ….live, eat and drink

The KUBERS consider reciprocation and conviviality to be of utmost important.

To meet the expectations of the tribe, KUBE has fitted out a cocktail lounge of around 150 metres squared ; a welcoming yet high-tech, innovative space dedicated to answering the needs of the KUBERS. The magnetic atmosphere of the venue is effected by unexpected touches : the armchairs upholstered in fake fur blend with the cubic tables and chairs ; the picture windows are adorned with long net curtains hemmed with red fake fur ; the walls are set with black mirrors and plasm screens…Central and magestic, a 15 metre counter in frosted glass glows beneath sunset-red lighting.

The ICE KUBE by Greygoose

-12° centigrade, 20 tonnes of ice, 6 metres of countertop, THE ICE KUBE by Greygoose exists in the realm of the experimental.

Always in search of new experiences, the ‘KUBERS’ live with their eyes open. In order that they may adventure into the icy section of KUBE, technical, yet light and elegant clothing is on hand. The cold of the ICE KUBE seizes all their senses, it overwhelms their perceptions and habitual benchmarks : breathing slows ; the sense of smell is transformed ; the eye must accustom itself to a strange luminosity ; the électroKubiques sounds become entirely uncontaminated; the mouth discovers the fire of ice coming into contact with the glasses, and the Greygoose vodka served ‘IN the rocks’ sets the bodies and souls of the ‘KUBERS’ ablaze .

Worked in a similar way to crystal, the ice is part of a surreal decor which is enlivened further by colourful projections and bespoke auditory accompaniment.

The first ice bar in the capital, THE ICE KUBE by Greygoose is the icon of a contemporary glacial and resolutely urban era. Once a year, the decor of THE ICE KUBE by Greygoose is redesigned to create a new ICE KUBE experience.

In November 2005, Le Kube, under the aegis of the Greygoose brand was accompanied by the genesis of the first Parisian ice bar: The Ice Kube by Grey Goose.

After 2 years of existence, the adventure continues The Ice KubE by Grey Goose’s decor is reimagined for the 3rd time. Always surprising, The Ice Kube by Grey Goose offers an even more unique and unprecedented experience.

The invariable :

Novelties :

Always in search of new experiences, the ‘KUBERS’ live with their eyes open. In order that they may adventure into the icy section of KUBE, the Puma brand, in association with Ice Kube, will dress the participants in parkas, gloves and hats from it Autumn/Winter 2008 collection.

A dressing room in shades of the Arctic, adorned with portraits of Inuits, provides a relaxed atmosphere ; there are shape-changing mirrors which allow the ‘KUBERS’ to observe and to play with their look.

With a entirely newly-rethought design and atmosphere, there to be discovered are :

an igloo of ice,
baroque furnishings with cabinets and chandeliers,
astonishing sculptures : ‘The Ice Man’, an ice mannequin leaning on the bar, a giant bottle of Greygoose vodka,
a VIP area with low table, throne-armchair and ice bench,
‘Freezy Coach’ : our model ‘ESF 1850 monitor’ frozen on an ice bench.

The chief KUBE barman, with the Greygoose vodka ambassador, has created 4 unusual and exclusive cocktails, served in conical ice glasses : in flavours of Greygoose bubblegum/ lychee cosmo / basil-citrus and pear-chocolate.

Forty-one rooms …..design and technology

More than just architectural, the ‘Kubisme’ is a state of mind that the ‘KUBERS’ enter into upon arrival. In the centre of a paved courtyard, the new arrivals discover and explore an imposing glss cube : the reception. After this initiation, they savour the welcoming conviviality of the cocktail lounge and depart in search of their bedroom. Black lighting, dark walls and numbers in fluorescent colours constituate a new sensory phase in which the ‘KUBERS’ are directed to their respective KUBES.

1. The Nordic Room

A homage to the Arctic, the hotel’s highest suite ‘reaches the summits’ and works the concept ‘ice-age’, like an invitation to a journey. The ‘KUBERS’ traverse the private stairwell to discover a suite decorated with a bipolarity : the warmth of fake fur blends with the glacial notes of bespoke furniture.

A suspended bed levitates above a strange pale light.

A open en suite bathroom offers an overflowing bathtub, lit by multicoloured bulbs.

The guests may curl up in the corner of a cosy igloo.

At the cutting edge of technology, the ‘KUBERS’ may enjoy the multiple functions of a new generation plasma screen.

A private terrace allows the ‘KUBERS’ to re-engage with the external world.

To expedite their stay, Lexus transport is at the disposition of the Kube Rooms and Bars clientele, their 4X4 hybrid for transfers : the shuttle from the Hotel Murano Urban Resort departs from Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est.

Functional, these 2 rooms provide superior technology : video projector, wall screen, pa system, wifi, DVD player, HF microphones...
