PRECIOUS ALLUREBurning Rocks CollectionThe first collection of men’s jewelry is the outcome of an exclusive collaboration between De Beers and the English designer Stephen Webster; an icon of the London rock culture. Stephen Webster’s attention was drawn to De Beers by the success of their iconic collection Talisman. Stephen declared “For the most part of my life as a jeweler, people referred to me as a «rough diamond». Therefore, when Guy Leymarie, CEO of De Beers, asked me to create a jewelry collection for men that would express the myth and powers of rough diamonds, I was immediately attracted to the concept. There are very few precious stones that can be mounted rough and still keep their hypnotic quality. However, there is something naturally magnetic and wild in a rough diamond. They go perfectly with today’s man”. Stephen Webster’s enthusiasm for design and jewelry has been alive for more than 30 years. His English Rock 'n' Roll style combined with his love for traditional craftsmen’s values developed in him a unique approach to jewelry; always pushing the limits of time, styles and cultures farther. Burning Rocks is an original collection combining English Rock culture and the Myth of Diamonds. Stephen Webster rehabilitates masculine jewelry through Gothic and medieval conventions. A collection of 22 pieces among which there are unique pieces. Burning Rocks revisits masculine classics such as cufflinks or signet rings, but also proposes pendants, necklaces, bracelets, a broach and earrings for men who assume their masculinity. Gray or yellow gold pieces enhance the brilliance of cut diamonds, whether white or rarer colors such as this green-gray diamond but also emblematic rough diamonds of the De Beers brand.
